Biography
Blayke Bayer was born in Denver, Colorado and has been dancing for eighteen years. She has strong versatility in various styles including Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, Tap, and Ballroom. At age eleven she was involved with The Silhouettes dance troupe that received Runner-Up of Season 6 on America’s Got Talent. The next three years she spent traveling internationally, performing at venues for large corporations including: Microsoft, General Mills, AEG Live, MDA Telethon, American Heart Association, and many others.
Blayke graduated from Chapman University in May 2021 with a B.F.A in Dance Performance and Minor in Leadership Studies. During her senior year, she served as the President of Chapman Dance Alliance, where she thrived in bringing people together in a positive and supportive environment. Her years at Chapman have instilled a deep knowledge and understanding of movement, the physical body, art, and choreography.
Following graduation she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her aspirations of a professional dancer, a career in both commercial and concert dance. Her aspirations to bring tour dance into the Electric Dance Music culture are only some of her long term goals. She hopes to both perform and choreograph with artists internationally while sharing vulnerability in impacting communities along the way.
